Complete feature results are posted above. Vic Hill led the first eight laps before William Thomas grabbed the point on lap 9. Chris Madden then went to the lead following a restart on lap 13, but was docked two positions for jumping the restart. So officially, I guess Vic Hill led laps 1-8 and William Thomas would have led 9-35.

What a cry baby chris madden is! His statements after the race complaining about getting beat by a SPEC ENGINE! Sometimes it's best to just show good sportsmanship and keep your mouth shut. Lot of people in the stands lost alot of respect for him tonight after his comments. He needs to check the rules every so often bc it pays off running a smaller engine package on slow slick race tracks! He needs to go find him a SPEC ENGINE!

I dont know what stands you were sitting in man. EVERYBODY where I was at were in total and complete disbelief at the call to put him back to 3rd after he grabbed the lead. If anything Madden gained a ton of new fans with the way he drove that car tonite. He passed Thomas and that sprint car wing of his TWICE and in another lap woulda passed him for the THIRD time. Ive watched dirt races since 1974 and no doubt in my mind the rightful winner of that race was Chris Madden.

I guess Vic Hill was crying as well then about them spec motors. I just watched the video and I have to say that was a BS call on that restart. Madden clearly did not jump the start. What was he suppose to do run Thomas over because he got a better start. Way to drop the ball Southern Nats officials.

He had every right to be heated last night. Like William way more than the 44 but that call was brutal. Hes not the only one that's fed up with racing against that wing. Heard about a half dozen in the pits afterward talking about it.

So............Does this mean the tide is turning in Dirt Late Models where the most expensive and powerful engine doesn't guarantee you a win. I am pretty sure that is what people have been trying to do the last several years. That will allow us to see good racing and more cars because i'm pretty sure a big-ol-wing and a spec motor are alot cheaper than a Roush Yates monster or any other major engine builder. Things that make you go.....HMMMMMMM

There is a VERY SIMPLE solution to eliminate a SPEC motors effectiveness........PREP the dam* track, and use WATER while you are doing it!

Cant believe they Madden lead for 10 or so laps and then put him back two spots at the next caution. Seen races at in 6 different states in the last 35 years and seen a lot of folks jump and get put back a row, but never 10 laps after they done it. Oh well...first time for everything.
