Cars like AMGs, BMW's M series and Audi's S series are designed mostly with the Nurburgring in mind. There is nothing even close to that in the states. Germans pride themselves on race car level handling and Americans pride themselves on mass amounts of horsepower. It's not a good thing or a bad thing, it's just the way it is.Originally posted by old fan View Postafraid you are wrong , the new caddy or Camaro can this ain't your daddys hot rod

Literally the very first thing that pops up when you google "Charger Hellcat 0-60"Originally posted by Cardirt0 View PostWent too 4 sites and all of them said 3.7 so they say Wrong...
Some of them did like 10 passes to get the 3.7 on a blue moon it may do 3.4 and in some of the passes the ZL1 did lower the 3.5 but on 10 runs it was 3.5
If you’re lusting for the ultimate V-8 muscle car but need a sedan with room for the kids, the outrageous 2023 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is your ride.
Don't know how much easier it can be.
Plus it has 4 doors.
In reality I'd take either one over the Mustang, but my preference will be the 4 door MoPar hemi power.

That's your problem!!!Originally posted by ClampedUp View PostI am true blue Hemi man through and through for 50+ years. The day you see me spending one penny on a fairy tie or a cotton pony you best be kissing your azz goodbye because the Earth is about to implode! LOL!!
I'd drive a Yugo before I ever wasted my money on those POS. He11 GM had to make their Vette look like a Viper and now Ford has their cotton pony looking like the Charger.

By the way, we're getting a little off topic talking about the bailout money, but all three took money from the government. The only difference is that Ford's several billion dollar loan came from a different fund than the other two.
"Ford requested a $9 billion line-of-credit from the government, and a $5 billion loan from the Energy Department. It pledged to accelerate development of both hybrid and battery-powered vehicles, retool plants to increase production of smaller cars, close dealerships, and sell Volvo."
They called it bankruptcy bailout for GM and Chrysler, and both paid it back and the government sold its shares of stock. They called it a loan for Ford--supposedly to develop electric cars (how many electric cars does Ford have in production since then, by the way?), but unlike the other two companies, Ford still hasn't paid their money back yet.
Whatever word you want to use to describe it, bailout or "loan", the result is the same--they still took our money. At least GM and Chrysler paid us back.Last edited by NormP; 08-28-2016, 11:50 PM.
