I just watched Davenport absolutely destroy a racecar banging the cushion at Lawrenceburg tonight. Some are gonna say we'll all he had was a flat but that's not the case at all. I want you guys to look at the right side of the 6 car including the RF of the car and wonder wtf was he driving like that for? He banged off a car or two but most of the damage came from absolutely overdriving the car. We all know JD made a decent career by winning races on the cushion but my question to ask is JD overdriving the car for a reason? Is their problems behind the scenes at Rumley racing? I mean he banged that cushion all the way to I think second place and hit it so hard, I mean it's hard to tell what all he bent under that car. The points before tonight we're realistically in a way up for grabs. Once he is second why not ride around and hope for Scott to make a mistake or have problems? Instead, He drove that race like it was the last lap of the dream for 25 laps with total disregard for the car or the people around him for a measly 12k$$. I noticed after he pounded the cushion the one time when it looked like he hit the wall at Daytona, he tried to drop to the bottom but gave up two positions so I wonder if the car was that bad or was the cushion the only thing keeping him out of the stands? When your winning it makes the crew feel a lot better fixing torn up equipment. Something has to change or I suspect sooner than later the 6 will have a new driver. He doesn't have a penny in that car but you still have to respect your equipment and the people turning the wrenches and helping you. Just my thoughts what do you guys think?

Probably need to ask the Rumley's about that and not the people on 4m. We don't have nothing invested in their operation. -
while im no fan of jd i think you need to get a life and stop posting about him everyday. no i dont think they will have a new driver but i dont look for them to run the lucas series next year either.Comment

BShep drove just as hard, if not harder than JD did. JD's stuff didn't last, BSheps did. Pretty much all you can say about that.
IMO bshep drove harder than jd did. Randall was telling Brandon to run up there, and he's the head wrench on that car. They could be running for 500, and I feel like they both drive that hard.Comment

Just curious if you were there?? I was...and I am for sure not a Davenport fan ....but most of the damage came from a rut in turn 2....I thought one time he was going to flip it when he hit it it wasn't from bangin the walls...and Bishop at the end went to the extreme high side and avoided the rutComment

You won't see JD on a national tour next year. It's funny that some think he is better than Bloomquist, lol. He is probably only a couple steps above most of the locals we see at the Lucas Oil races. Now if you put the cheater suspension back on his car only he can win like last year but that's it.Comment
