Yeah, that's fine. Your time could be better spent notifying Lucas Oil they forgot to put The World 100 on their schedule. I'm pretty sure most of us didn't see the press release announcing this really big news that Lucas Oil is running The World 100 now...

Reason they b!tch about that stuff is because they work their a$$ off to be fast, and be at the front, not to be penalized for it.
You say the field is pretty equal today, not hardly. Lucas has field fillers just like every other series. if not why some nights there are only 6 7 10 cars on the lead lap.

If Bloomer has no problem coming from the back at Eldora with that type of competetion I don't see why he would at other tracks with a lot less competetion plus the fans are still talking about him coming from the tail and winning that race. Makes fro better racing for the fans.

It would take the drivers who feel the cheaters are taking away their ability to compete fairly to do the boycotting, no drivers equals no fans in the stands.

The Outlaws have 14 drivers that have entered every event this season.

The LOLMDS has 10 drivers that have entered every event this season.

Last ten races for each series:

                LOLMDS
                Lawrenceburg: 35 Cars
                Ponderosa: 28 Cars
North South: 62 Cars ($50,000 to win)
Latham: 65 Cars ($30,000 to win)
                Macon: 21 Cars
SDN: 57 Cars ($40,000 to win)
                Diamond Nats: 41 Cars
                Tri City: 32 Cars
                Smoky Mountain: 30 Cars
                Cherokee: 26 Cars

                Total Payout to win: $238k
                Avg: 39.7

                WoO
                Merritt: 39 Cars
                Merritt: 40 Cars
                Eriez: 31 Cars
                Winchester: 33 Cars
                Potomac: 39 Cars
                Delaware: 37 Cars
Cedar Lake: 49 Cars ($50k to win)
                Cedar Lake: 50 Cars
                Shawano: 28 Cars
FALS: 59 Cars ($27k to win)

                Total Payout to win: $164k
                Avg: 40.5

So despite the fact that over the last 10 races the LOLMDS has paid almost $80k more to win the WoO has still had higher car counts, and they bring more cars to each race. The LOLMDS is the premier tour in the country as far as competition goes but the WoO certainly has it beat in quantity of cars it brings, and what it can draw in at a significantly smaller cost to the track.

It's amazing but kid rock is right!

Back in the day qualifying was as big as a win. When the main paid $300 fast time paid $200,. You got plenty of championship points, too but you started at the tail.

I'm thinking of boycotting until the 50/50 raffle starts to pay better.

Well it depends, but obviously each person has their own opinion. I would much rather see two of the six or seven best drivers in the country along with a field of 40 SLM than I would see three or four of the six or seven best drivers in the country along with a field of 25 SLM. I really enjoy heat racing, I definitely prefer the redraw that the WoO does, etc. but I'm glad you support dirt racing no matter which tour it is. They both provide some of the best racing in existence.

                      Thanks,
                      Jeff.

That is when racing was racing. And none of the BS that surrounds all aspects of racing today!!!!!!
For the people that are calling drivers field fillers, Your completely WRONG. These drivers want to learn and be part of the learning curve. Have you ever looked at it that way? The New drivers get to feel the real effects of racing with the best. Their emotions are so high and filled with joy just to race against them. This is their passion and want to see if this is the right direction they want to step into. Everybody should have goals to achieve, and buy getting to race against the Big Dogs. Their goal has been met, and all they do is SMILE when they cross the finish line. So the next time you go to a race, WOO- LOLMDS- MLRA stop down to a few of these drivers and tell them thanks for coming. I promise they will be smiling from ear to ear!!!!!!!! TRY IT

                          Couldn't have said it better!!

In our case, we are one of the "class of the field" at home in Ca, Az, Nv. When we travel once a year back to I-80, and this year Wheatland, and Monett, we could be considered "field fillers". Although we had some shining moments at Wheatland, then broke an axel in the main, we still felt proud of our accomplishments against the best of the best. I also have to say the fans that came down after the races to thank us for towing out were awesome. Hospitality is first rate out in the midwest everywhere we went.
