Yup we sure are. I used to watch her dad race at fonda speedway in the early 80's.
She owns the sprint car that freison drives now and then

She was also dating Friesen prior to Tony Stewart. Another issue between the two was the interview that Friesen did on ESPN after Tony Stewart's wreck with Kevin Ward.

Here's the interview with Friesen where he says Stewart used his car as a weapon in the death of Kevin Ward Jr. Friesen says it 3 or 4 times and the interviewer followed up on it and Friesen never backed off of the weapon statement. I was hoping Friesen would win just to see how awkward the whole scene would be.

There's a little more to it than just what Friesen said in the interview. Friesen's wife said some things about the incident that left Kevin Ward Jr. dead immediately after it happened. She was right behind Stewart and said she saw Stewart's car steer to the right and up the banking of the track and she saw and heard Stewart gun the engine and spin the tires. When asked if she thought Stewart intentionally drove at Kevin Ward Jr. she said she didn't know what he was thinking or what was going through his mind.

Exactly. Ironically, Friesen uses his truck as a weapon in every asphalt race I've seen him run.

Here's some passages from transcripts of court papers filed involving the wrongful death civil suit against Stewart that is pending at this time. This was posted on an upstate New York news website. This is what I based my post on so read for yourself what the woman had to say. There were others besides Friesen's wife who's description match her account of what she saw. If and when this case is heard in open court she'll probably have to testify under oath and if she doesn't change her account of what she saw she'll have to swear she's telling the truth.

Just in case you don't understand the term "perjury" it is when you knowingly lie during the course of sworn testimony and carries a stiff penalty of fines and jail time.

If you know something that conflicts with hers and other accounts of what happened and are willing to swear to it under oath then it's a safe bet that Stewart's lawyers will be in contact and would like to hear it. LOL!

Unlike you I skipped law school and have yet to pass the bar exam so I'm depending on common sense which dictates that the Ward family attorney is probably competent enough to avoid testimony that can be discredited for any reason. It's a safe assumption that it's already been established who the spurnor and the spurnee was and how messy the disassociation was. But it really comes down to whether or not the jury or the judge, whichever will decided the case, finds Mrs. Zemken-Friesen's testimony to be credible and without malice and if anyone can and will collaborate her testimony. It's also a safe assumption that anyone who was in position to have a credible point of view of the incident has already been interviewed to refute or establish collaboration.

If only Friesen had won, that would have pegged the awkward meter! LOL!

Sorry I'm drawing a blank on who it was but, I was surprised NASCAR allowed the one driver last night to have that "mud" deflector on the hood of the truck. With some track time and experimenting, seems as though that could be used to gain something.

Yeah it didn't do much, and they have been doing that since they started this event. Pierce had one a couple years back.
