a question about the track. i'm thinking about going to this race and it's my first time there. looking at the layout map, is the general admission parking far from the track like it looks on the map?

Yea, from what I saw it looked like spectator parking was basically the area used as the pits for the drag strip, right up at the front of the grandstands.

I see they're running Sportsman? Just curious where or what they might get for a car count in that class...

My stuff's pretty wore out by now, and I was thinking it might be safest to stick to smaller tracks for what racing I have left. But I also know that every time I don't go to a race, I wish I had.

They have a great start to something good at Joliet and I hope to support them in whatever way I can. Thanks for asking, and maybe I'll see you there one way or another!
