Track Testing for Gateway

The Chili Bowl and Du Quoin berm are pretty much identical. Those berms can, has and will cause some crash's but it's better than tires or having cars running partially through the infield.

Here's a video that shows the kind of berm that they build at Du Quoin. It seems to work the best. Last year at the dome we were surprised that they had just the tires for an inside barrier.

Ya when they knock the tires out of the way and start driving on the floor then the upper groove is toast...they need to do something to keep them on the racing surface...

That 3 foot high berm seems to work pretty good at Du Quoin and Tulsa.

If they bring sprints there, you going have a flip fest. They might want put 2 bonus in for them. Big air bonus who ever get the most air. 2nd bonus who had the best flips/rolls. Gymnastic Sprint racing coming to gateway soon. Give 5 people in the crowd score cards the best 3 add them up.
