Carlton and Kemp Lamm owners of Dunn Benson Motorsports along with their New Driver Bobby Pierce, have decided to follow the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2018 and compete for the series championship. The Dunn Benson Motorsports Team will be posting their full 2018 schedule on the Team Website in the next few weeks that will include selected World of Outlaw Late Model Series events, selected UMP Dirtcar Summer Nationals events and a variety of super late model events that doesn’t conflict with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2018.

There are no excuses for winners, just losers. I have a feeling that with all the talent in Lucas oil LM, the average finish position will be big. The one that wins the most races, may not win the points race. One too many poor finishes could be the determining factor. Also, driver of the year, most likely comes from WOO. The Lucas drivers, most likely will beat each other up, like some of the College sports conferences do. Should be interesting, for sure.Last edited by Bubstr; 12-30-2017, 05:51 PM.

It should be a great season everybody getting what they want...Pierce fans get bragging rights or the naysayers saying I told you so..I think Bobby will have a small learning curve at some of the East Coast and Southern tracks but it wont take him long to acclimate...

Now hold on I'm confused. After it was announced that the Landers, Rumley, and Davenport super team was formed everyone on 4M said that superman would win the championship by a landslide. Now there can only be one points champ. Definitely going to be interesting in both series this year looks like lots of people hitting the road. I look at it this way. While those guys are spending their time putting together new teams this winter you can bet Bloomquist, Richards and T-mac are fine tuning on their programs.
