Please tell us why 4th in points would be bad? Earl finished 7th for the same team and he is a seasoned veteran and a multiple time champion of the series. I expect Bobby to do as well, if not better, than anyone else they could have put in the car.

Agree. Earl finished 7th and 8th in his last 2 years in the DB ride. If Bobby finishes top 3 or better, that tells us something about Earl.

No doubt in my mind he can contend for the title...my concern is the motor program Dunn-Benson uses is it up to snuff to compete with the Durham Fords for a national title?

Everybody thinks you need a Andy Durham plant to compete on a National tour. I think what some forget is that TMac darn near won the points with what some claim is 2nd rate power. Forgive me Bill.

I think the kid will win 3 and finish top 3 in points. And that's pretty good for a youngster on his first try on a tour.

While I’m hard on Bobby because some of his fans highly irritate me, he does a little, and his family, about like his fans, I think he’ll do well.

I’d say, 4th-6th in points, around 3 wins, and headed in the right direction. Really getting out on his own and maturing I hope.

To clarify some of the incorrect information on this thread, Bob Pierce IS the Crew Chief for Dunn Benson Motorsports and Bobby Pierce as stated in the official PR that was released by DBM. The crew consists of Kent Fegter, Danny Myers, Kelly Raynor, Randy Courtney, Red Fisher, Ralph Peiffer and Wayne Castleberry with each having respective roles on the Team. Bobby Pierce is relocating to NC and will communicate daily with his dad on the race car setups and such and Bob will be at all the race events to oversee and work closely with Bobby.Dunn Benson Motorsports will be using Rocket Chassis's with Ford power coming from Doug Yates and Larry Wallace with a Pro Power Ford as an emergency spare.
