I don't know how much testing they got to do if any, but it was a miscalculation to show up and just undo what had already been learned with one bold move. I think given enough time he could've adjusted the truck to have been better than it ended up being, but we'll never know. I like sway bars, but I also know the history of DLM and why they ended up falling out of favor and why the majority think they don't work on dirt. My guess is since he's always run dirt w/o one he thought it would just work without it, but there are a lot of fallacies that exist to this day in dirt late model racing about setup and design. People tend to follow the herd, so its rare for much new to be discovered because of it. Its why we have 4 link cars running the way they do today, because its what you see everyone else having success with. Not to knock Rocket, they win a lot, but daily I run into people on here and elsewhere that truly believe that, NOT running an XR1 with and Andy Durham Ford engine and Mark Richard Integras is not only foolish but dangerous. They watch someone struggle at one track with something new or different and they immediately jump to the conclusion that the ONLY solution is to quickly call Shinnston WV and order a duplicate house car and put Mark on speed dial. This is after only 2 weeks and being on the road. Its seems not many have the courage these days to learn anything for themselves, they believe they must buy it and be told explicitly how to use it. How do they suppose Mark learned what he knows? Or Moyer? Or Bloomquist? Or you fill in the blank? JMHO

Good post. Oh, I agree. Use whatever works for you, even if you are literally the only one doing it. Look at Bloomer. Used to be this huge push to three wheel the cars, he never went to that. But at the same time, you need results. While Florida isn’t the be all end all, pretty soon, him and the others struggling, better pick it up. If that means being a sheep, or being a rebel, do whatever will work.

I actually think Bobby will be fine NOT running Integras, his ARS shocks are just fine, just maybe his setups needs a tweak since he's new to those cars. Speed weeks is only a little over 2 weeks long, on tracks they won't see the likes of again till next February.

Lucas is the premier series. If he wanted to give Bloomer 10k, he would at the next race or when he picks up a frame.

Right. They seem to have a pretty good relationship, as friends, and as business partners. I remember Sweet saying everyone else would just tell him everything was warm n fuzzy, and Bloomer would test for him, and provide feedback on how it felt. Constructive criticism I guess you could call it.

If Bloomer switches, there’s still no guarantee he’s going to win he title. Sure, he’s much closer to the from in WoO, but the talent on the tours is far more even than its been in years. He’s not anywhere near stupid, he knows that. If he does switch, there’s a reason for it that isn’t really public knowledge yet, but it’ll go public soon enough.

Even if he doesn't end up going with WOO you can bet your backside that there are negotiations going on with both series. In the end, Scott comes out ahead
