First of all, I was talking about real sprint cars, no wings. But even if you want to include wings, outside of the Kings Royal and Knoxville there are only about 2-3 other races for sprint cars that pay $20K. The majority are $3K, $4K, $5K to win not including the WOO. USAC pay sucks. Would you like to contribute anything useful to the conversation or not?

Weekly sprint tracks pay more money than weekly late model tracks.

It was promoted heavily on 4m all winter that year nearly daily as being one of the biggest paying races in the south and no one showed up.
He's talking about the guy with the american racer tires that the lab didn't have the latest bench mark because either they didn't ask or american racer didn't send it. Relatively no name, i honestly can't remember his name now i think he was number 1. Maybe autry? Scott autry? I'm not from that area so if he is known around those parts cool, i'm in the Terry phillips, Tony jackson and Stovall area.

In a sprint car, if you trash a frame you can get a bare frame for what $3000 or so and build it in the parking lot of a walmart in 3 hours.
Not sure where sprint car racing is healthy but around here they are now going from 2barrel 360 spec head rules to 305 rules with injection and splitting the car counts with non-wing different motor rules as well.

I don't understand how the racing is going to be any better... I've not seen what HP the 305's are putting out but they have flat tappets and 50 less CI but not restricted by carbs. Each time you cut HP it becomes that much more important to have every last hp more so with a huge wing on the top.

Scott Autry is correct, got tossed at the big Lancaster race and later decided his tires were good.

Yep, another race we found out who the winner was a week after the flag dropped.

Win went to Shirley I believe.

                              Wasn't it exciting?

Most tracks that run 410's weekly pay double what weekly late model tracks pay.
