Bloomquist had a part break in that race. Would have to research as to what broke. So, a gift.Originally posted by MI Dirt Fan View Post

2008 Bloomquist starting last at the Show-Me 100 and passing Mars with 5 laps to go. After the race Mars said "I would go down there and pat Scott on the back and tell him good job but I'm sure he's doing that enough himself". LOL. Mars was so upset after that race.

That was a great race, but 2008 was better when McCreadie passed Richards at the exit of 4 coming to the checkers.Originally posted by DirtRaceJunky View PostBirky passing Bloomer coming out of turn 4 at Knoxville in 2014. Hands down winner.....{mic drop}

My very first night behind the wheel I won my heat race and was entered in a "special" heat, too. Led the second one for 5 3/4 laps when my carb burped and I got passed coming off of turn four on the last lap.
Two wins would have been too much I guess.Member of the Luxemburg Speedway Hall of Fame

They claimed it was a 5th coil or lift bar. I wasn't there, so I can't say how true it was. I seen people say they didn't see anything, and of course the 0 faithful claimed there was. So who really knows. I remember the car making a weird move right before Birky passed him, but he was still under when he went under the flagstand.Originally posted by TheJet-09 View PostIf I recall, it was some sort of catastrophic rearend failure. I wasn't there, but I think someone said the driveshaft was hanging down as he was pushed over the scale.
2 that stick out in my mind are Chubs pass in the grass at PRP in the late 90s, and Delmas Conley running his own son Rod off the back stretch at atomic just a couple years back for a win after a last lap restart.
I can't believe this thread is nearly 3 pages long, and no one has mentioned the pass in the grass. I thought some of guys were hardcore fans?Last edited by zyoung25; 04-06-2018, 01:58 AM.

I'm surprised too, it was one of my first thoughts after the obvious one's listed first.Originally posted by zyoung25 View Post

I think it's way better the chub's least as far as back and forth over the lap 2 laps

Man I wish somebody could post this video. If my memory serves me correctly Earl Pearson Jr Chris Madden and Duane Hommel were 3 wide coming out of turn 4 and wrecked and Moran drove by them on the high side to win the race and i thought it was the 3rd March Madness but i could be wrong about thatOriginally posted by No_Weak_Links View PostThe 1st March madness race at Cherokee, when Donnie Moran drove off into turn 3 in 4th place, and won the race.
