Here's the operative lines of your original post that could be construed as just a little over-hype. If it's misconstrued then it's my mistake. I love the kid. He's well advanced for his age and legitimately impressed a lot of people, including me, in a sprinter at Brownstown a couple of years ago. Sorry, meant no malice towards you or Mr. O'Neal. Just two cases of misinterpretation by both of us.

Do you see anything in my short paragraph about putting him in the same category as the USAC regulars?

Thanks getinit for seeing it the way I posted it.
Okay. Like I said, I'll take your word for it.

Well nuff, there have been many lofty open wheel shoes that have gone on to win races and multiple championships in the highest levels of racing in the world. DLM guys? Not so much. If DLM's were a solid stepping stone to those higher levels as the dirt open wheel divisions have been we might see drivers like Bell and Larson in DLM's (I could name a half dozen more but I won't bother) on their way up.

It was clearly evident that Jack Hewitt could more than hold his own in a DLM.

Going from a midget to a crate to a super and a modified all in one weekend that is talent

Looking at the results of the race he flipped in the 4th heat and didn't make the show which sucks cause i would love to see what he could do in a midget
didn't you just "see" what he can do in a midget ? I remember in florida this year he did ok at first and guys on here had him winning multiple big races this year in a lm ! haven't seen that happen yet and will continue to wait !

Lol I like Hudson but I also thought his midget results so far are kind of saying the opposite of what these guys are...
