I remember the controversy when this popped up a few years ago. But I never heard how it turned out. So thanks for the update. I know people were mad when this first surfaced.

It sure would be nice if Billy Moyer won another crown jewel. I know some people don’t like him, but I have met him several times at the track, and him and his son were nice people.

Billy has to be 60 now. Can’t see him knocking off another CJ race but he is behind Delmas Conley, the second best senior citizen in DLM racing lol. Wonder how long it will be before the zero loses that edge? It happens in every sport but in racing it seems to happen overnight

Under 26k no cdl needed regardless of air brakes, RV registration takes beds way to cook and keep things cold, which makes exempt of cdl. If commercial tags then all this changes. Technically class A needed for any truck & trailer (combination vehicle) including your commercial plated box van and open trailer. Hazmat endorsement needed over think 500 gallons of placard items (gas, oil, combustibles & poisons) and needs placard on 4 visible sides. The Big catch 22 is how officer feels that day because if you have sponsor names on car you can become commercial vehicle in eyes of law, whether on car on open trailer or plastard on outside of the enclosed trailer....... I know, it's clear as mud right? FMCSA can be thanked for all the confusion.

KWD, Scott’s big advantage is that racing is his life. Lives and loves to race and win. He is the Earnhardt of DLM racing and I know I’m old when he finally hangs the helmet up for good. His big advantage is he knows how to drive a car straight and smooth so we could see another pretty good 5 years or so out of the hands down goat of our sport
