What tracks that are gone would you like to have back (closed / dismantled)?

East Windsor Speedway & Flemington Speedway for me too. I also had a chance to see a few races at WVMS, which at the time, I thought was one of the nicest dirt tracks that I had ever seen.

Even though they didn't race the best, I would love to have Pennsboro and WVMS back. 3 minutes from the house and WVMS about 35 min. Sad.

I agree with both. Had some good times at Penn and WVMS back in the 90s. Id add Silver Spring in PA and even though i wasnt around when they were open, my family always says how great Dorsey Speedway was back in the day.

One of the tracks that would have to be at the top of this list would have to be the original Atomic speedway in Oakridge, TN. And for me personally, not gone or dismantled, but shortened by new ownership, Cherokee speedway in Gaffney, SC.

Saugus Speedway-dead flat 1/3 asphalt with completely inverted fields of mostly topless '57 Chevys.Riverside Raceway-terrific road course that claimed more than a fair share of racers. NASCAR races there were great.Ernie Purcell Speedway, Grass Valley, CA-red clay doglegged 1/4, 15 minutes from home.Raced, got a pizza and beer and home by midnight. Great small town local track.Geneva-On-The-Lake Speedway, Ohio resort town track where I started. Crude, rough old style dirt 1/4. After race fights were nearly as good as the races.Avila Speedway, outside Fort Wayne, Indiana- 3/8 dirt, ran Wednesdays and Saturdays every week with different classes, well prepped and great competition.

Geneva had a track? I had no idea. We had a trailer in I think it’s Saybrook, next to a park. Fishing on Lake Erie was our vacation. Trailer with no running water, certainly no cable lol.

If u mean bring the show me 100 back to west plains I would be all for that! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.West plains IS still open. They still run Late models IMCA modifieds and about 3 other classes.
