Glad to see this mentioned. It's the track I was thinking of when I read the topic.

Brown County Speedway in Russellvile Ohio.
the old configuration of Lawereneceburg Speedway in Lawereneceburg Indiana

Brown County had a hot dog listed under "race track chicken" on the track menu. That should tell ya enough about that joint.

WOW so sad to see some of the names on the list. The ones that I attended and enjoyed are 16th Street Speedway in Indianapolis; Millstream in Findlay, OH; Queen City in Cincinnati, OH; 67 Raceway Park, Godfrey, IL; and Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, KY.

Ones that I missed out on and wish I could've seen a race there include Red Hill Speedway, Sumner, IL; Warsaw Speedway, Warsaw, IN; Avila Speedway, Avila, IN; and Atomic Speedway in TN.

16th Street Speedway was quite unique. It was square shaped and provided great midget racing. Like so many others. too bad more folks didn't attend.

                      Brown County just rotting away?
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Atomic in Tennessee is the one I really wish I coulda seen. I’d like to see Raceway 7 (Conneaut, Oh)return to its glory it had with Ron Nielsen, but that ain’t happening with who has it now.

WVMS. I79. WVMS because of It's size and speed. The terrace seating and it was picturesque. Just siting there unused is a crime. I79 for its great racing. So sad it's been paved over.

It's been a cow pasture for several years now. Most of everything still it looks like its still standing from Google Earth. Spent many nights there as little hoodlum ☹. I definetly miss the place
