    Dan Schlieper wins at PDTR

Per his FB page Dan Schlieper won Saturday night at Plymouth Dirt Track in Wisconsin. Drove a borrowed car with a Wild chassis. Sounds like he's got a couple more local races to run with the same deal...

I always liked Schlieper alot. That 2003 World 100 was a clinic by him.

I'd love to see him get back to running some bigger shows, was always fun to watch.

I like Schlieper but he would be a terrible choice! Been out of racing to long.

big fan. an almost story. likely after havatampa. maybe original dirty dozen? anyway, big show at west liberty. track locked down on the bottom. unusual for that place, but it did that night. Schlieper maybe in the top five, but tried a different groove. went backwards and got tore up. in the pits afterward offered him a beer and thanked him for trying to race cause as a fan, it was a bad night. he was frustrated but said "I couldn't just follow". great racer, great personality, and likely hard to keep up with at a party. my kind of guy.

Davis, Schlieper, Schumacher, Edler, Ruh shine in PDTR A-main action

That's some good news! Congrats to the Wildman! Always enjoyed talking to him when he stop by to pick up his shocks at Carrera.

Just watching Dan qualify was always worth the price of admission.
