Had to have that for the NASCAR races. Just adding dirt was a cost thing.

Should it come down though? I haven't watched yesterdays replay yet so I'm only basing what I've seen off last year's video. It seemed like it hindered cars from getting "sideways" in the corner. Especially 3-4 the most.

I agree 100%. I also mentioned that after last year's race. What's your thoughts on the safer barrier?

I went twice last year. It was evident right away. Safer barrier not needed for lm, in my opinion.

I'd still give it a shot.. They did say last night there will be 4 guaranteed prov and the current point leaders to get in are Pierce

The asphalt was completely removed. It’s in a large pile to the right of the pits behind the backstretch. After living in Mansfield many years I’m just glad that so far Cody has saved the track from the wrecking ball. If he is ever able to buy the track then hopefully he can make the necessary improvements to the track. Rest of facility is 1st class.

Place reminds me of florence in ways, being narrow and especially the hole in 3&4 they had at Mansfield reminded me of the hole in 1&2 at florence that can suck your car around. I wasn't overly disappointed at the track in person, lots of passing most of the night but Don just checked out and nobody had anything for him. I've got plans for the million, but hoping the track is better.
