A Corticosteroid, which is anti inflammatory and immunosuppressive. Prednisone is one but there are others like Prednisolone, which is more often prescribed because it"s easier on the liver. Prednisone is actually metabolized into Prednisolone by the liver. Taking Prednisolone instead avoids this.

I've had 15 mg meloxicam for years, to use as needed. But yeah, doc said try not to use more than three times a week, or he'd have to prescribe something else to protect the Liver.

He has won 5 races, 2 of them being WoO races and two 10,000 dollar spring national races and was 2nd in the dream. I say he does pretty good in it.
