Hard to argue otherwise. Richards just don't have the same win column

Hard to argue? Bloomquist has more wins, more money won and has won the two biggest races of the year. LOL.

Its not based on the whole year. It is heavily based on what you did this week too. Just like a college football or basketball poll.

You could make a play his Cherokee win but it's discussed here regularly that the DoD top 25 is a right now thing. That 19th at Muskingum co is ugly. LOL

And the DNQ at the Firecracker counts into that as well.

Now when they announce Driver of the Year then you can complain about it not being whomever you say has had the best year.

He did go from 14th to 9th and will likely make more gains next week if he finishes the tour as strong as he has been. Like Flagone said, they kind of move through the rankings like NCAA.

SO it's just a weekly poll.

Pretty impressive considering (to my knowledge) Marlar has a 9-5 during the week. Obviously he has a good team behind him but are there any other top 25 drivers that have day jobs? I ask because I'm not sure on some of them.

I think he owns a business, but obviously isn't there much. Said he probably won't be home till after the North/South. Still very impressive, and deserving, heck of a good guy and racer!

Take away the dream winning it’s not far of winnings. Scott made little over 30k more than marlar. Stats Bloomquist 8 first, 24 top 5s, 26 top 10s. Scott has raced 38. Marlar 4 first, 24 top 5s, 30 top 10s. Marlar has raced 34 times. Tour vs tour Scott has 21 top 10s out of 28 races. Marlar 21 top 10s out of 23 races, reason he tied for point lead.

I don’t see how any can hate that marlar ranked number 1 this week. My question is has marlar ever ran full tour with woo? If not, how he not the lead rookie of the year so far?

Nothing against Marlar but Bloomers show me and dream wins puts him way over the top!

Even college football considers a teams whole body of work.
