No one. Who else has started at his age in a super and stayed in it the whole time? No one.Originally posted by Highside Hustler25 View Post99 wins in a super by the age of 21. Who else has done it?
I’m not going to discredit Bobby, because I think he is very good. But there is no one to compare him too. Just hope he gets the maintenance figured out, and at times whoas up. Because racing meathead like he did was going to turn out bad, and it pretty much junked his weekend.Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normalâ€.

Great point. I'll say this...if Hudson O'Neal ran supers weekly at a local track and ran the Summer Nats the next 3 years, he could rack up 99 wins in a super by the time he's 21.Originally posted by Highside Hustler25 View Post99 wins in a super by the age of 21. Who else has done it?
Won't happen though...b/c he's already full-time on the Lucas tour at 17.
If they don't spend supers into extinction, future of the sport looks good driver wise with Pierce, young O'Neal, Moran, B-Shepp, Tyler Erb, etc. Number of talented kids with a lot of bright years ahead of them.

Depends on how far you go back.....but probly less!Originally posted by kidrock View PostYou think maybe 100 drivers have done that or less than that?
I also think if you raced in the top class in your area that should count too! We haven't had supers in my area in 30 plus years!Turn LEFT, Vote RIGHT!

X2, Name one hat has won that many of any SLM events. It sure wasn't the top race winner, Billy Moyer or Bloomquist.Originally posted by kidrock View PostYou think maybe 100 drivers have done that or less than that?
I don't believe any driver wins even 50% of the races ran. Since you have a big age difference, the only logical way to compare is win percentage. Bloomer and Moyer fans wouldn't like that comparison. Bloomer was 18 before he started and Moyer was 21.By the way both of them where hatted when young. Rough drivers too. Both where way worse than the young kids, we have now at handling the crowd rejection. Moyer and Bloomer was silver spoon Daddy's boys and Moyer had the best equipment in the Country at the time. Built by Joe Merryfield, world winner and raced for Billy's dad.
These kids are fun to watch and if you can't do that, your missing out because of the hate. Even Birky was hated locally, when he started. They just didn't know they wasn't supposed to beat the Haters driver.
As far as Huck goes, he is a doer, not a Monday morning talker on this forum. He races when he can. If he races well or not, he still races better than the typewriter jockeys in here. Most of those Jockeys need to learn an old saying in race circles, You just don't know how hard you have to work, just to sux.

Richards was already running nationally for a handful of years at Bobby’s age. He never really ran much in the way of local shows though, so of course he didn’t have the same amount of wins at the same age.

Yep, agree on Richards. But again, which I know ya know, it’s not the same as Bobby. Nobody started their career exactly as Bobby has I don’t believe. Devin maybe pretty close.
As far as Moyer and Bloomer, I know Moyer had very good stuff the whole time. Moved away from motocross racing, I’m sure because of the dangers. And Bloomers Dad was a pilot. Out of Bloomers mouth, when he moved to Tennessee, whatever he had, he had to pay his Dad for. Was not handed to him.Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is.
