So you say dry slick tracks create dust and that's why you and other fans are leaving the sport....I then give you just a short list of tracks that are dry slick and have little to no dust....and your response is that's too bad? ....I have no idea what you're point is? Too bad they don't have dust?Originally posted by Clayton_Wetter View PostAnd that's too bad. lol

I'm losing more respect for you by the day. No use continuing to get anywhere with you. Just as long as you have a clean car with no bends or drive train stress at the end of the night things are great. And heaven forbid maybe turning over. haOriginally posted by Matt49 View PostNo you started it when you said that you would "never buy that" slick conditions are more difficult for a driver. And now you've changed the subject to what conditions the fans want to see in an attempt to bring it back to your perspective. Which further proves my point - you have no idea what condition is more difficult to drive in because you A) haven't driven yourself and B) haven't talked to many drivers about this topic. If you have done either, you would know that this is not really debatable.
Kind of a "pretend " driver!!!! lol

Too bad that they are that way. Get it now? It was obvious.Originally posted by No_Weak_Links View PostSo you say dry slick tracks create dust and that's why you and other fans are leaving the sport....I then give you just a short list of tracks that are dry slick and have little to no dust....and your response is that's too bad? ....I have no idea what you're point is? Your logic pretzel is so transparent I don't know if you're ignorant or just trolling sometimes. Anyway...next time you're in the pits at a race, walk up to any driver and proclaim that driving in the slick is easy and it takes a "real" driver to perform in tacky conditions. When they get done laughing at you, they'll ask you if you're serious.Originally posted by Clayton_Wetter View PostI'm losing more respect for you by the day. About 99% of us are "pretend" drivers to you. So I'm not exactly drowning in tears that you are losing respect for me. You don't have any appreciation for what it takes to get a car around the track much less on it.

Wasting your time Matt49 he's beat that horse to death. I'm sure he s never driven or worked on a racecar, nor prepped a racetrack.

You could put big money on that. But unlike me, he is not a "pretend" driver. REAL drivers are waiting for the track to be hammer down so they can get out there and hit everything but the flag stand, hopefully gut the gears out of the rear-end, and maybe even barrel roll that thing across the finish line. That's the real challenge, right?Originally posted by ImCryn2 View PostJudging by his posts on here, I would say he is 0 for 3!!!
I'm sure the line of fools that think that's what it's all about and want to get behind the wheel of a race car is LONG but it isn't moving AT ALL. No car owner wants that guy in their car, including this one.

Just look at the difference in Wednesday and Thursday at Florence. Wednesday, nary any passing, Thursday slicker and smoother...more passing!

Are you trying to save face and defend yourself? Maybe you just can't handle racing on a heavy track and are trying to save face. What happened, did they blow you away on the high side too often. lol Can you win on a heavy track just as well as your beloved "dirtsphalt"??? I don't believe so. Must be nice getting to call the shots all the time, right?Originally posted by Matt49 View PostYour logic pretzel is so transparent I don't know if you're ignorant or just trolling sometimes. So maybe you can't cut it on a heavy track? How many times have you complained?Originally posted by Matt49 View PostYou could put big money on that. But unlike me, he is not a "pretend" driver. How about you have it your pretend way and I'll have it in reality. And let's just move on?Last edited by Clayton_Wetter; 08-10-2018, 04:05 PM.

Dude...pretty sure you lost this argument about a page ago and I really don't have anything to defend myself against. You haven't made even the first valid point to support your position (that slick conditions are easier for a driver) because you don't know what you're talking about.Originally posted by Clayton_Wetter View PostAre you trying to save face and defend yourself? Do you see ANYBODY taking your side on this "debate"??? Over 3500 views and over 70 replies and not a single person agreeing with you...let that sink in.
You're sitting in the stands...and many of the people that are telling you the truth that you don't want to hear are drivers. When you find yourself in a hole, sometimes the best thing to do is stop digging. But I doubt that's what we'll see you do here.
