Has anyone questioned the tire going into turn one ..... Why was it there .... It looked to me like w/o that tire there would have been alot more room to race .... I saw two times that tire didnt need to be there ..... From the camera view on dod I didnt see a tire going into turn 3 ....

I'd say he junked it from lack of water. It definitely was blowing blue smoke. Increased as the car visibly lost power.

Two thoughts on the Pierce front from last night....and as I've stated more than once on this board, I am not a Pierce fan.

1) If he had driven a more "conservative" race last night, as many argue he should, and he finished say 5th or 6th...would anyone here have given him credit for driving a "smart" race?? My bet would be absolutely NOT.

The kid is at his best when he's up on the wheel, so...stay up on the wheel young man.

2) He may have already, but if he hasn't he needs to thank all of his fans for their support and securing him a provisional,
even though he didn't need it. Had he needed it, that's 40k in the pocket b/c of his supporters. Love him or hate him, his fans stepped up to the plate on that deal.
