I changed mine it was before racing began but it was after the time deadline, you do what you see fit I have no complaints either way...and I agree with CnB if ur open to suggestions I say give us 0 for tonight but let our new picks count for the rest of weekend..that would be more than fair...

DCH, If you do this then I would like to change out my Group 5 pick of Simpson, just for the simple fact that I think someone else in that group will score better for the rest of the weekend. (here is another scenario for you to consider, if you allow those to change out Weiss). All of my drivers could blow up or crash out tonight, does that mean I could/would get to pick a complete new set of drivers to earn points for rest of weekend? (again, another scenario you could run into/consider). We all take the same risk in picking drivers, I've been burned in the past and accepted it.

Your original post clearly states to pick a driver for all 3 nights by x:xx deadline.

dirt FANatic 11 brings up a good point, and lays out some examples of how this whole fantasy picks game can get out of hand if we start changing up the rules all the time. I'm sorry guys, but this whole game is nothing more than a guessing game. You have the choice of playing it safe and picking a driver that will more than likely make the feature 99% of the time, even if he may not have much of a chance to win it or finish in the top 5. Or you can gamble and pick a driver that may back out of a race at the last minute, not pass tech inspection, show up late and not get to race, etc., knowing that if they do show, they are a decent bet to win any race they run.

I(and many others) got burned last week when Bloomquist showed up late, and didn't get to race that night. I never once thought about asking to change my pick after the deadline for that. I got burned earlier in the year when I picked Marlar for a Lucas race, and he no showed. I wanted to get back on here and change that pick, but I was too late, and the deadline had passed. I took my 0 for those picks, and that was that. That's the chances we take when we make picks.

My opinion is the deadline is the deadline, and that should stand. In this case, the ones that were able to come in here and change their picks, did it by the rules, and they should be allowed to stand. For the ones who didn't change them in time, I'm sorry but I don't think they should be allowed to change them.

I know my opinion may not be popular, and it is just my opinion, but the deadline is there for a reason.

I don't even get why it's up for debate? Or when the rules became debatable? Dang near everyone that plays weekly takes there lumps thruout the year if not it's pure luck. This ain't the WOO an you all ain't Mark Richard's 😊

^^^^^ I take it you boys didnt take Weiss lmao.. dirtfanatic wayyy different situation with Weiss than just making a bad choice and picking a junk driver, like you did with Simpson. Rules are rules I stated I didnt care but for the circumstances it was just a suggestion, how much does this pay? Lol dont get so butthurt about it...

DCH you dont have to give me any points for the Weiss slot but I think its only fair for the guys up towards the front to let their changed pick count, it was past the deadline yes but a very unique situation that doesn't ever happen. The guys against it are mostly upset cause they made bad choices elsewhere, and would rather win on a technicality. If money was involved I could see sticking to the deadline but just for fun, whats the harm in it...lol...
