Billy isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. But he is iconic in dirt late model racing. Interesting that some entitled fans think they have the right to criticize where he runs or doesn’t run. He’s earned his chance to run wherever and whenever he wishes. Maybe it’s not that he’s too old but that you were born too late, Gemini Christmas.

He races for a living and makes smart decisions on where to go to make money so he can keep his business afloat and race his whole life and people get upset about that because of two reasons. Lazyness and jealousy. Moyer is smart with his business. Rip him all you want but I’d say it’s more likely he’s more successful than you are at life.

Interesting Fact I had time to figure out recently as I was curious...
Bloomer and Moyer have both had amazing careers. I know there has been much discussion on here about what a crown jewel is and what isn’t but I looked at what I consider to be the top 5 major races that have been in existence since the 80s when you had only these 5 races and not 16 other $20,000 to win races that want to call themselves Crown Jewels. The 5 races I looked at are the 1) Dream 2) World 3) USA Nationals 4) North/South 5) DTWC. Bloomer was the clear leader but I looked to see who the top 20 in history would be and just judging off of these 5 race victories here is the top 20...

Very well put. I think if you included total career victories it would be more meaningful. Moyer has followed a more outlaw type schedule for most of his career where Bloomquist tended to be more of a series follower after HavATampa got going.

Either way both are exceptionaly well at what they do. Just one acts like a racer should w/o drama

The thing about majors is no matter which ones you include or take away Bloomquist would have the most. If you added the Show Me 100, Topless and Knoxville to that list Bloomquist just pulls further away.
