It's interesting because there aren't any forms of communication in Middlebourne WV yet. I think they still use telegraph and carrier pigeons.

PPV is a very FAR distance 2nd to being at a live action race, for numerous reasons ( we could easily list 100 ) So I doubt more than a hand full of fans will choose to get a ppv over attending if they are within a reasonable driving distance... You could tell some people, just sit at home in your recliner, and we'll send you a check weekly and they would b!tch because they have to walk to the mailbox...esp. If they are on 4m

I’ve found my self watching ppvs while I’m at a race track. That might only be me but it has happened a few fimes

Because they have bad service. And DoD’s PPV is all predicated on good high speed internet. Even Fairbury can be not perfect. Eldora is always flawless.

Thats great, why bother going to the track and why bother building cars for the support classes? Now people can stay away from their local tracks and watch them go broke, all to watch a race 1000 miles away. Does that sound familiar. Sounds like Nascrap scheduling a bunch of saurday night races.

There is next to zero dirt fans with your logic there. If there’s a race I wanna go to and I plan on going to, I’m going. Whether it’s PPV or not. It’s a boost in exposure for the tracks and drivers to more fans. I will get to Florida some day, but East Bay and Volusia I dunno about.

What is NASCAR like is the very few teams who can compete anymore.

PPV has never kept me from a track, never has never will. However I do think these tracks should be getting a slice of the pie of the revenue, which im sure they are...

I've had DOD for 3 years now and where can I find the info on this? Is it just the months you want to get or do you have to pay for all 12 months?TY in advance.

It’s new this year. I’m not sure how it will work with dod but with DIRTVision it was 40 a month for all the sprints and you pay month to month and you don’t get charged for off months. So if you payed on October 28th you won’t pay again til February 28th

All the negative people worrying about PPV hurting local tracks specials must not realize that any track allowing PPV gets a cut of the buys.

I normally buy the ppvs when the weather is crappy in my area, and I want to watch some racing. Other than that, you can probably find me at the track. I dont see many people staying home just because there is a race on on ppv.
