Thanks guys. That was simply amazing. Bloomer deserves some sort of award for that...and shame on Mars for that. I expected better of him. Still, it resulted in the highlight of the 2018 season for me.

Does anyone remember which race Mars hit Bloomquist, broke his left front tire and Bloomquist went on to win anyway? I think it was a heat race. Might have even been at I-80.
Been going to I-80 a lot of years. That Thursday show was the best show I’ve seen start to finish I’ve seen at the place. The modified feature should be on someone’s race of the year. RC Whitwell and Grabouski just casually throwing sliders for 25 laps was sure impressive.

We were there and it was good, but really 44 got held up in traffic pretty badly!

Basically no Super Lates out here, just a few Limited Lates so I'd have to go with one of our Super/Pro Stock wins at Marysville. The season ending Taxi Open is an all stock car show, a rarity in Sprint Car obsessed Norcal. with about every class that's fendered or minus front fenders (Mods).

Several cars run multiple classes, including us. Winged Super Stocks ran first and we had a strong 4th in that one minus a wing. Super Stocks ran last and my boy lapped half the field, led every lap and 2nd finished 7 seconds, or half a lap behind him. Second time we've won the Taxi Open and it was as much fun as the first one though I don't know if everyone else enjoyed it that much.
