That one was on the DoD list as well. Excellent race.Originally posted by BloomquistFan0 View PostMine was definitely night 1 at East bay for Lucas Oil
The one race that I was surprised didn't get any love from DoD was the race at Golden Isles when Richards and Hudson O'Neal battled for the win. That caution killed what looked to be a photo finish. Very exciting race.

mine. and I don't get around as much as most of you, but...
fals hell tour. pierce. then moyer and babb. huge fan of all. and to watch them race the track, changing lanes from their preferred line to find the fastest lane, and the respect for each other...
I guess that's what I call racing. I enjoy that much as anything. and why I will always be at a dirt track whenever I get the chance. And the days that I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations, well, I have really good days - Ray Wylie Hubbard

I couldn't agree with you more. We are blessed to have such great drivers and tracks that there is such a wide variety of opinions on a question like this. Dirt Late Model racing is amazing. I find it hard to believe it isn't more popular, but I'm glad at the same time. I'd hate to see it turn out like NASCAR.Originally posted by klemmabyna View Postmine. and I don't get around as much as most of you, but...

I just finished rewatching the DoD PPV of the race. I forgot that was the infamous James Essex Has A Heart Attack race. LOL Even the undercard modified and Malvern Bank races were great that night.Originally posted by Tireguy17 View PostThursday night at the Silver Dollar Nationals, Scott and JD in a photo finish.
Does anyone remember which race Mars hit Bloomquist, broke his left front tire and Bloomquist went on to win anyway? I think it was a heat race. Might have even been at I-80.

1:25ish mark. Then Mars takes a cheap shot at him to try and finish him off when he sees the damage.
