We all like getting our Marriott points. It's just a time and place thing for me. Most of the people running the gates have no clue what to do if something were to go crazy on the machine, as BBQ mentioned seems like a great place to have your card compromised, and it's just an easier transaction all around with cash.

To each their own I guess....(until you clog up the line) 😁.

I’ll use a card if I forget to hit then ATM on my way to the track, it rarely happens, but still.

The tracks in our area that we frequent aren't set up for credit card admission sales and I don't often eat race track food so I don't have any frame of reference in that regard. When I do eat race track food I exclusively pay with green backs and silver/copper. I certainly hold no animus towards anyone who prefer's to pay with credit card. I believe it is the track's responsibility to have the necessary people and equipment to avoid inconveniencing other paying customers thus my ire would be directed toward the track in the event of a time or inconvenience problem.

One thing is for sure, if a track is going to incur the added input costs that come with accepting credit cards it is incumbent for them to have well trained employee's and up to date equipment.

          Hilton man.

I do bring cash, but if I forgot or something, I’d use my card obviously. You can use a cc reader with your phone these days. My wife does Scentsy stuff and uses her phone and a reader. Though you are correct, you can get hacked more easily on a less secure server.

But if I see a transaction I didn’t make, I’d get it taken off. I also receive emails for any transaction done without my card being scanned, and over I think it’s $500.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I found it ironic that AtomiKC posted on saturday morning thier credit card reader was not functioning, cash only.
It does happen, but I think only a rookie dirt track fan would get caught unprepared for cash only.

Ahh, look at that, now we got the guy who decides on who is a veteran race fan based on whether or not they have cash on hand. Jesus, you guys are funny.
