I’ve never seen someone take such a ridiculous approach to the weather. He!! no it ain’t perfect, but you watch a couple forecasts, you watch the radar, and you can make a good judgment. And when they tell you a river is cresting, probably means it’s been raining, just maybe.

If you go to Spoon River Speedway on there facebook page. They are giving updates on there. Sounds like its wet and muddy there. Kinda sounds like they hope to get a little sun and wind to help out with the drying process.

I remember that thread, but I don't remember people saying it was going to be a washout. A week out they had a 50% chance of raining depending on what the tropical storm in the gulf was going to do. That's some exaggerating on your part.

Weather Underground, a week before the Dream, forecasted a 50% chance of rain up to 1/3" that Saturday night. Guess what happened. It rained that Saturday night, delaying the race for a bit.
