That show really has the sweet spot right now. The mods they draw really add to the overall quality of the show imo. They have been able to get that 65 or so of each and have room to pit them all. Gonna guess a bump in pay again. Maybe they have some plans to shoe horn more seats in the place. Redo the old covered stands to make more seating. Just guesses.

the old grandstands aren't going anywhere. it's the oldest around. an if they did it still be behind the horse track. if the do something with them you will piss off all the old timers and they support the track weekly. if they raise the purse you will draw more cars an the pits are already at the max capacity.

I thought about that and me and ShinySide18 have talked about that in person. I think that is a real possibility. Guess will see in a few weeks.

I thought that to possibly but they would have to move the golf outing and all fundraisers to Wednesday.

Would flipping the straightaways ever be an option? That way, you could keep the covered stand while increasing capacity on the current backstretch. I've wondered about that for a while.

only problem with seating is Pdc. all other races they hit half capacity except summer nationals. would it be cost efficient to add seats for just 1 weekend a year?

replace backstretch with taller ones. is my thinking but like I said not cost efficient. they can't do 1&2 as every year seems a tire or 2 gets over the fence. seen tire cross the street an hit the school before.

Hopefully they do that and switch to the Silver Dollar Nationals format.

the pits are at max. there is no more room unless your parking them on the street. I know plenty facts pal I go there often live fairly close by. if you think the pits can handle 20 more cars your def nuts an have never been there before.

Guys. no b.s. don't ruin the thread. Keep it clean. I started this thread for race info, drivers list, and talk about the race amongst are selves about the show. Maybe they will talk about the BIG announcement when they post the press release on the website.

                            Modifieds aren't going anywhere.

Mods are staying...3 nights is highly unlikely from what I've been told.
It's mostly about wanting to make sure track holds up into Saturday night.
3 nights has been discussed, yes.
