Agree 100%. I sent a note to D on D last year and told them the same thing. Enjoy the broadcasts but would like a little more race car!

I’ve been watching almost every night for a month, and I’m not even sure what y’all are referring to. What do you want? The sound of cars only and no announcing?

I'm not a sound/video producer but I would imagine it's a real tricky balance to get a good sound of the cars and still hear the announcers. So they opt more for the PA since it's a more professional broadcast than having loud cars and barely hearing the announcers.

I mean the one that always sounds like he's coughing or stuttering or whatever at the end of 90% of his sentences. And he has about 2 catch phrases we have to hear continuously for 50 laps. Oh and says "lead" really weird. Just all around amateur hour.

I'd like to see Ben Shelton take over.

I'm not exactly sure of the announcers that you people are speaking about. Is there a problem on 4M to name names? I'm not trying to be difficult here, it's just that I don't know. This Dewayne guy, what races does he announce at? I subscribe to LORTV as well as Dirt Vision. I think that James Essex and his co announcer do a good job. I also think Dustin Jarrett is really very good. On the other hand I think Rick Eschelman (spelling ?) needs some new material. The "Waffle House" scenario as well as the "premature acceleration" statement is getting way to old. Sliiiiiiiiide job, door to door, wheel to wheel, when actually a lot these actions are not really happening. But I guess part of the job of these people is to make a race as exciting as possible. By all means I could do no better than any of them. Not trying to ruffle any feathers here. Just my two cents worth.
