When Brandon runs his family car, is that a xr-1 ? I was told it is not, that it is a older rocket. Anyone know ?

I'm fairly certain it's an older car. Think I heard him mention it before. Also, it only says ROCKET on it, not ROCKET XR1 like the rest.

They are XR1. Grandad even recently switched to Ford, albiet still not a Durham. It didn't have xr1 on the spoiler last time I noticed, but it sure does everywhere on the chassis. Cause that's what it is.

i have no sources this is just my own observations but the family operation appears to have two cars a older blue grey car that Brandon has run at the dome the last few years and a xr1 that he runs everywhere else. Again this is things I've seen not been told

He had a blue grey at the dome. Other than that he’s in xr1s

Thanks for the clarification. I knew he was running an older car awhile back and by the spoiler I just assumed he still was.

The question was? Does one car dominating a series good for the series? No one is knocking Brandon, he is a very good pilot. The one team is absolutely top notch. I do think the series is weaker this year. But that is JMO. Lucas has a far more competitive series IMO. But filling the grand stands is what its all about. Seems like both series do well with that. BTW I am not talking about points. I am just talking about how many teams can actually win races and run up front. You can see guys running in the top five one night and struggling to finish in the top 15 the next.

I think it really has alot to do with the format. If you watch a guy set fast time win his heat and set on the pole every week it definitely gets old. Woo does a redraw witch helps alot but i liked it better before the shane clanton revision to the redraw
