Here are the 2 by comparison...keep in mind, B-Shepp is running a series that has only 10 full time drivers.
So, his numbers aren't surprising at all.
However, I still believe B-Shepp has to be the best (and current #1 ranked) driver in the country, with JD #2.
Bobby has definitely benefitted from racing a non-LUCAS schedule. However, it would also be hard to argue he wasn't top 5, if not #3. Perhaps Tyler Erb #3 considering his numbers as a rookie, compared to BP last season.

Can you really compare Bobby's numbers to JD or Sheppard? JD and Sheppard are running on both national tours and are running against pretty good competition almost every night and Pierce is running around the Midwest and close to home against decent competition. I'm not bashing Pierce by no means but can you really say he is the 3rd best driver in the country when he is A not on a tour and B running an outlaw schedule and not going up against the big boys but every once in a while

I think it's difficult to leave him outside top 5. I can easily see Tyler Erb at #3..honestly #4 through #10 this year are quite interchangeable and opinion based.
Me personally, I put Bobby in at number 5 and either EPJ or Josh Richards at #4 with the other tied at #5.
Whereas someone else might put Bobby at number 10.

I do understand what you mean, though.
I did state that Bobby has a schedule which favors his stats.
That's also why I put Bobby on there for comparison, because one is Lucas, one is WOO, and one is Outlaw. I wanted to represent the top in each category.

Good points and thanks for the info and not think I was bashing Pierce and you make a valid point in comparing all 3 and I like the way you did it makes it really open your eyes to who the top guys are on all 3 categories

I think it works for drivers too. JD has won some big races obviously, but he isn't as consistent as Sheppard. I think someone else mentioned it earlier--Sheppard is rarely out of the top 5. Then you add in the Mark Richards team and it's a dual threat.

As I keep pointing out, Sheppard in the B5 isn't a DoD #1 driver. People keep glossing over that fact.

1) Is BEST motorsports sponsoring/running as many cars/race teams in 2019, as they did during the year Brandon drove for them?

2) When Brandon drove for them, was it not BEST motorsports first time running the Lucas series full-time?

Yes, I chose to point out facts that support my opinions, just as others did. I'm just pointing out how often the general consensus is missing a lot. I had Marlar as a top 10 driver 20 years ago. Who else did? At this point, I'd say I underestimated him.

You’re usually pretty sensible, but well, have to give it to you, this is a dumb post.

No one says BShepp is God, or that Rocket 1 ain’t the top ride. It’s everything together that makes it what it is. His personal B5 car doesn’t get the attention the 1 car gets, nor does it have all the same stuff.

I think he’s just a really good driver out of the 1, like most drivers. And you put them in the right situation and they shine.
