Well if this race is around next year and pays the same, it may bring big car counts, but what I think your going to see is more SLM drivers showing up for a run at the dollars. Stupid not too.

I think that is one of the reasons they made sure this race was the same weekend as a big SLM show.

In a 50k dirt race , Beating 113 cars means you earned it , slm regular or not.

Overton had a talent /big race experience advantage no doubt, but that field wasn't exactly weak sauce.

I get what c and b is saying too, not sure what the answer should be.....maybe make the Lucas regs and the woo regs run crate cars for a couple all star races and see what we get? See who the best driver really is in the " same " stuff.

You get slm guys at more crate shows is only going to limit the field to bigger shows. Those 113 entries no that most big teams have a scheduled race on there perspective tour. If as a car owner I could bring in a top slm talent that drivers name would not be made public until we pulled up to the pit gate.
