A race to replace the Gator 100 that used to be at Volusia would be awesome to have again in late November/Early December.

While I would really like that, it wont be successful!

WOO tried that one year, and it was a big flop!......lack of fans and cars!

You don't want to get too close to Christmas. People tend to use their expendable cash on presents instead of races.

The original Xtreme was headed the right way...then bought out... People can say what they want about the Goodyear's, the price was the same for EVERYONE and they actually gave out tires at their events. Bland was on the right track (had TV, went to Knoxville, etc.). Good luck to the new series, hopefully the little Headknocker will run as his old man did with the Xtreme.

Funny thing about a WRG led Xtreme is the Goodyears that doomed the original version of Xtreme are pretty much the reason the WoO late model series even exists.

Not really, we don't have supers down here and for some reason, the racers don't like to travel this far south!

Exactly, Hoosier created the original dirty dozen (WOO) by signing them to Hoosier only contracts.

Funny thing about that is that up until just a couple years ago, the WoO had a true open tire rule everywhere except for UMP tracks, where they used the UMP rule. It’s not like that anymore, but they still have an AR option at most of their races.

Being there is great.....the drive down sux depending on how far away your coming from.....all day on 95 is grinding.

I have said for years the only way to curb tire cheating is to have tires given out at the track, and provide an area for the teams to mount them, or let them pay a nominal fee to have them mounted.
Or you could go with a standard wheel, and let the teams pick up the tires already mounted and ready to race.
