One of the founding fathers of stock car racing. RIP
                Guerilla Racing Junkies.

Shovel on a little more coal, then when we cross white oak mountain, watch 97 roll!

The problem is the gall dang motors.

Sorry to hear of his passing. Always respected him, liked his approach, drawl.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I used to haul roofing materials out of Wilkes county

Man you can see how tuff hauling shine was even today. Not a straight highway to be found.

                    Rest in peace Junior

They even used his likeness for the brand Midnight Moon. Not sure if he owns any of it, but based off of his recipes supposedly.

Junior actually put together the Still that is in the Memory Lane museum in Mooresville, NC. (I guess it is still there.) A lot of racing and auto pieces there, stop by if you get a chance.

He and Smoky never found a rule book they couldn't get around. The old guys are passing on with nobody to fill their shoes. RIP Junior.
