childersburg , Alabama , it opened in the mid 90,s and was designed by one of the well known racers from TST , it was a big , wide track that produced great racing with plenty of room , it was only open till 2001 when the owners wife said her or the track , its been closed ever since,,,,,,

Ernie Purcell Speedway in Grass Valley, CA. Sure miss our little red clay bullring only a couple of minutes from home.
It's about a tie with the loss of the flat , asphalt 1/3 Saugus Speedway in southern Cal. Both tracks closed in 1995.

I-20 Speedway in Batesburg SC as far as tracks I've been to that have closed.

Atomic Speedway (TN), Athens Speedway (Athens GA) and I-85 Raceway (Greer SC) as far as tracks I never got to attend.

Been lucky. The good tracks that have closed around me have pretty much been replaced or have reopened. The ones that haven't, well just say it was more like a mercy killing and best left shuttered.
                        I hate time trials.
