Eldora - Dream - Bloomquist & Babb Thoughts? ---- Bloomquist interview via Flo Racing

    Eldora - Dream - Bloomquist & Babb

    Thoughts?

I think it was kind of a racin' deal where Scott was coming up the track and Shannon's front nose was slightly pointed down towards the inside as he came off turn 2 on the high side. If you look really close at the video Babb came off the wall just a tick as Bloomquist came up to try and clear him. Personally, I think it was a racing deal and $h!t happens sometimes. Neither are really known for being dirty drivers.

A racing deal alright. But arguably not a clean one.

I'm a Babb fan but that was totally his fault.

Funny thing though my wife is like "why are you cheering when a guy wrecked and flipped over?"

After getting passed by multiple cars in the 2 prior laps, bloomer got frustrated and drove over his head. Seen it coming before it ever happened. To throw the blame on Babb just shows what kind of a$$ he is. Nothing new tho. He's never been wrong throughout his entire career. Not sure why he'd change now.

i like babb but hes got as much car control as anybody out there it was on him. scott arced it off the bottom like everybody does but babb came way down more than he had to. it looked like a couple of washed up guys tearing a bunchve stuff up for a heat race, but scott got junked for no reason

Do I think Babb intentionally wrecked Bloomer? Of course not. Do I think Babb was at fault? Yes. Do I also see why people claim a racing deal? Yes.

Bloomer drifted up higher than he usually does at the exact same moment Babb was setting up to go to the bottom in 3

That is how I saw it. The old boy was driving out of frustration and desperation by trying to force his way into a hole that just wasn't there to begin with.

I felt like Scott was trying to cut the air off of Babbs car by crossing over his nose before they got to 3, and Babb was looking to dive low as he had a couple times before and they met in middle. I wouldn't place blame on either guy, it's a racing deal IMO.

He said he was wrong twice in the Interview, wrong about choosing new tires and something else.

Give the guy a break, You cant Interview a Driver that close after a wreck like that and not expect to get a heated response. HE was pissed off, and he's broke and having to liquidate just to keep up. Driving someone else's car and borrowing Engines.

Hard times for Ole Bloomer, hopefully he can pull thru it.

Watching on Flo, I don't really think I saw enough to place blame one way or another. Unfortunate for Bloomer though.
