Absolutely not, T-Mac won a lot of races and Crown Jewels in the Sweetners Plus 39.

His dirt career was good enough to get a shot at Childress in Nascar. Flip and back injury derailed that. His knowledge of the late models helped Rocket get their program back on track this year. You're barking up the wrong tree with that comment.

I don't remember anyone stating Sheppard was the God of dlm's or the next Moyer but he won a ton of races in the Rocket 1. (As anyone should) Seems strange that the current driver is not having similar results after close to a whole season. I mean, who doesn't win in the 🚀1?

TMac didn't have the updated chassis all year but he has climbed form 9th to 5th in the standings. No driver that's driven the #1 has had a similar season. Still a few races to settle with Huddy for 4th.

I know it isn't trivia night but I'll guess Rick Eckert

I was asking a question not saying Tmac was an average driver.

Correct. Eckert took over one of the other times that Sheppard left and went from like March or April until the end of the season without a single victory.

That might have been Josh instead of Shep

He won 2 SN races fwiw

Still not a good year. Those cars were trash. Probably one of the worst years rocket ever had.

And he STILL managed to finish second in points. The man was consistent regardless.

That's when it was time to call Rumley.

it was Sheppard. People forget Sheppard has been in that car three different times and left all three times because he wanted to be closer to home.
