And I don't mean at some obscure track in the middle of nowhere. Curious to know if anyone is doing well in an older car.

What is your bar exactly? There were quite a few 2016 Rockets winning fairly big shows a year or 2 ago. I'm not sure if any are still in use. I haven't noticed Terbo run that primer gray car for a at least a year now.

There's no reason one could not, if it was still in good shape.

I thought the car RTJ was so dominant with last year was an older style longhorn car? I know it had the older style bumper and fuel cell. I haven't seen it since Hudson took over though.

He started using the stinger chassis at one point. Edit; just looked it up, he won all the Ice Bowls in a Stinger Chassis except for his first when he had a Sweet Bloomquist with a 525

I don't know for sure if he ran it after that or not. He did win that night though. This was during the sunshine nats at Volusia. He got DQ'd because of valve spring height.

Just went and watched the feature. Dude whipped them. Car didn't look too out of place...makes me wonder whats been done in terms of updates. Also makes me wonder why people are so keen on running new chassis and not just sticking with some older stuff?
