Not sure if anyone noticed the schedule but there's no heat races on Saturday for the late models. Looks like they are locking X in from points and running LCS to fill the field. Sprints and Mods still have heats.

We have been going for many years running and as well find it to be a good value. Its also a nice to spend several days in the Charlotte area enjoying the bars, restaurants and golf courses. Only thing I find outrageous is the cost of alcohol at the facility, but that is not an issue since they allow you to bring in your own beers. Hopefully, we get some nice warm weather this year for the event.

It'll take some laps off of the track, but not enough. Late model fans kind of got the shaft on that deal. I don't know how I feel about it.

I don't think they get as many people as Charlotte, however there are probably more in the pits so it is deceiving; seems like the pit viewing 'rotates' through the divisions so if everyone was there at once....On a second note, come up to Trackhouse Motorplex (formally GoPro Motorplex) while you're in town, will be a ton of dirt racing people there and you never know on the racer side who will show up.

Race sells out every year I'm guessing 20-30K people, Charges $15 more per ticket and concessions 2x-3x more than Eldora yet pays 15K, 15K and 25K for a so called "Final Crown Jewel".

You do realize they have to pay big purses for THREE divisions, right?
