I’m not taking that bet! Still the same ol boring looking car, just different chassis. Don’t get me wrong, no disrespect to erb, just saying his car has looked the same for years. I admire and respect what he and heather do with what they have!

Trying to find some speed again I assume. Got to remember : he is still doing it the old school way -mainly just he/Heather.
How many drivers these days are owners/drivers?
Imagine: getting ready to leave the shop- drivjng the hauler- arriving/unloading at track- working/adjusting during the race night- loading everything back up into the hauler- then getting behind the wheel and driving to next race or back home.
Very, very few do what he does.
So on these thoughts - I definitely admire his determination.
We still need these racers in our sport!!

Spot on. That's part of the reason I'm an Erb fan. Bust his @$$ to get where he's at. A person can admire his determination to be where he's at today. For all the teams on the national tours he's the hardest working one in my opinion.

And he does all of that upwards of 100x a year...unbelievable. Numerous track championships, 3x Summer Nationals champ (in a row, nonetheless), a WoO championship, and a Dream win at Eldora. That's quite a resume!

I feel they are both “ True Gems” in our sport.
For the average fans- their determination/hard work goes unnoticed.
But to the knowledgeable fan- we recognize and appreciate it.

I have seen in the pits more than a few times when they have had major damage and other teams jump in big time to help .. I know this is common place but I get the feeling other teams truly appreciate and respect what Dennis and Heather are doing and are up against in those situations

you are 100% correct- the other teams respect/help them-especially during the racing if Dennis has problems and is in the (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)pit. This is common amongst alot of teams.

Dennis is a man of few words. Last year at Bubbas in Ocala : Heather was hard at work on the car while Dennis was watching Bubba Clem do trackprep. I told him he had the hardest working women in the pits. He just kinda grinned and said “ somebody has to do it.”
