I don't think Timmy took being the house car driver seriously enough. This isn't the bwrc house car where barry supplies one car Sombody else pays the bills and you need to conserve your equipment. This is the rocket house car and the guy with the check book tells you to win the race at any cost. If that happens to be getting up on the boards and burning it down that night. That's what the man wants. They don't write on the check or in the history books (only one because their was a cushion) you can work on driving through the middle all you want but if theirs a lip and you need to be their then you need to be their. I like tim alot but he's always talking about how he can still do it like he once did but then doesn't when that's what's nessecary. Their will always be a place in this sport for guys like Dennis erb and tanner english but it will never be in the rocket house car. I'm sure tim has been very valuable in the development of the new car and will continue to be he's just not the right fit for the blue 1. Tim is now in his third ride in 2 years and still looks the same night in and night out. I hear him talk alot in interviews about what he wants out of his racecar. Ive had alot of guys tell me they were uncomfortable in the car over the years when we found something new. The good ones adapted others chased a feel that may never be their again.

If this is the case then it would make both McCreadie, Richards and co. look a little "set in their ways". Maybe it's why Mark prefers kids in the drivers seat.

Ill go ahead and call it...Rocket is going the way of Bullitt, Shaw, Howe, Sanger,American Made,GRT, Mastersbilt, Warrior, Bloomquist, Rayburn,Barry Wright. They are done dominating. T-Mac is a awesome driver STILL, he wasnt the issue. The car is the issue. B-Shepp is STILL a awesome driver & he couldnt sniff a win in florida. Ive got nothing against Rocket or Richards but they are done. If somebody challenges LH for supremacy it will be another chassis than Rocket.

i wouldnt put all of it on someone else. Alberson, RTJ, troutman, terbo even dotson have all steadily progressed, tanner has pretty much had the same results since driving weavers stuff, good regionally but missing something nationally

I'm referring to the fact the cars are now WFO aero-glued. Their style is rarely rewarded.

What kids have been in the seat besides hud and Josh?. And josh doesn't count because what father wouldn't put his son in a car. while young hud has been on tour for nearly a decade now. You are right that mark may be stuck in his ways in that winning matters more than any other one thing in that camp its a performance based ride as it should be. Does any body ohnestly think that if moran, Davenport, bobby,or any other major team were in rockets and had the same amount of time that they've had in the cars and with the same teams they wouldn't be just as good?
