When a fat guy stands on the front? The height requirement would be no problem to solve. They already run lower than ride now

if the front nosepiece needs raised more than 4" to get enough air under the car to disrupt the aero than what should the number be? 6", 8"? the cars are too locked down aero wise so it seems to me the cheapest way to change is by raising the nosepiece significantly to make cars less stable.

It's faster on the ground, so they will always get it on the ground. The travel used on the track is a very small window. You just make more initial travel really soft to get it in race position. Then you hold it down with shocks. If you want to make the nose less aero dependent, it needs to have a much taller frontal area, like they did 12 years ago. No splitter on it either. That would do a lot.

I still think I'm the only guy that was concerned when he showed up at PRI and saw splitters on the noses.

You're right and for some reason I can't comprehend they let the nose guy dictate the rules essentially.
