I remember always having these slow cars everywhere. Remember back in 1996 to 2007 when over 200 would show at Eldora and you had problems in hotlaps with slow cars. What can and should be done is make everyone qualify and take tp 24 from heats put into a feature then next 24 in a feature and so on.

So how is your Billy Green statement relevant to anything to with last night or this whole weekend?

The guy that took Marlar out was getting lapped and went from the very bottom to the top right into Marlar's line, unbelievable. You dont see that much at a higher caliber race very often, lappers hold their line.

Short answer, "NO". Its normal when something happens and its "YOU" who's on the losing end, of course you want things changed. To me the better solution is a payout and format change, that way you attract more quality teams/cars and fewer back markers make the show to be an issue. So I do feel for Marlar getting taken out, but nobody wants a major even to not have enough cars to fill the field, it looks bad. $h!t happens...

You think a crate shouldn't be on the track. We aren't discussing Billy green. He hasn't accomplished what I was describing.

The issue was a car ran up the track and the leader wasn't expecting it. The engine under the hood was not the issue.

                    Both can be issues.

Whether is Trent Green, Billy Green, Willy Green, Troy Green.

Chassis dyno to determine who can race? Trent Green would lap some of those guys in a 100 lapper on the black ice.

The fact is a car being lapped drove the Davenport line and took marlar out. Crap happens. No reason to start throwing on a bunch of new arbitrary procedures.

I get it, you can’t start throwing a bunch of procedures out there or it will get ridiculous.
Florence black ice is gone. Engle and Williams caliber shouldn’t have been out there in a crate (neither are on T Green’s level). Engle probably just wanted to be part of the show, which is fine, but bringing a pocket knife to a gun fight (driver and car) ruined a win for top flight driver. Use common sense, Florence doesn’t slick over from top to bottom anymore, your crate is gonna be in the way

”Hey, I know you haven’t raced all year and maybe twice in the last two years, but let’s take this crate car to the crown jewel”- dumb

The fact that he, (the 15) car, didn’t think he did anything wrong per DirtonDirt article, is hilarious. Called it a racing deal.

Simple solution for marlar, BE FASTER! They've already made rules to separate slow from fast, its called qualifying. Pill draw or inverted whole heats and watching crybabies cry and racing get better

Williams wasn't even the slowest car on the track. Marlar had already lapped a car before he got to Williams. His last 2 laps were 18.9 and 19.1. 14th place was running 19.0 at the end of the feature. Again, this is knee jerk because an accident occurred. Should Landrum be black flagged? Lefevers? Montgomery, who ultimately made the 100 lapper? There was maybe a couple tenths difference between all these cars I've mentioned, at that point in the race.
