The down time between fixing the fencing makes it a no brainer for me. I went to the inaugural event and will say it has improved greatly since then. The track configuration is much better and the dirt seems to hold up better as far as ruts and holes. The Flo production end is top notch and makes you feel like you're inches away from the action not to mention the instant replays. It's nice to be able to get up and do other things when they are repairing the fence as well.
It seems to have become a do not miss event for the late model guys as pert near every quality late model driver is in attendance.

          Zero competition, I think not.
To each their own but I wouldn't even turn this race on at home, that said I have only missed one year in person with a 4 hour drive.

last I heard they expect to sell between 35-38k for Saturday so 31 presold makes sense.

That's correct. The comment I replied to was about car count.

                Excuse me. I stand corrected.

That has to be the strongest field of entries yet.

For the guys that can turn a profit on merchandise it makes perfect sense. Between it being around Christmas time and the amount of people that go to this event, it can generate some decent revenue I'd bet.

For the amount of money these guys spend on racing, the price of a new wrap is pretty small potatoes.

Hopefully they don’t do the “it rained overnight in the dome” this year. Ruined the Friday last year after a maybe the best racing they’ve ever had there on the Thursday. Wide smooth and racey. There’s enough carnage on that tiny track without turning purposely it into a baja to destroy stuff. The racing was way worse after they did that too. One groove slamming through ruts.
