The first 5-6 races with Lucas they will use last years points for provisionals. After that : he’s on his own to make the races.

And what about the regular series provisionals, are you okay with that? At Volusia, the WoO had everyone of their drivers in the show, most nights that was 6 provisionals. So if a series will allow that many provisionals then, what is one or two more from the track? With that, I don't blame the track or Davenport for making that type of deal to show up, Bloomquist has done it, Moyer has done it and now Davenport is doing it. No matter what many think, he is a draw to the track in attendance. And don't worry, he will do fine without you buying a t-shirt lol.Originally posted by foxfire2dirtracing View PostAnd it truly sux!

And I believe that your driver, Jason Feger has used a few provisionals in his day. So what is the difference, if series can have provisionals, why can't promoters have provisionals. The only way to make it fair is that there is no provisionals allowed at all, and that will never happen.Originally posted by Highside Hustler25 View Post
Not a fan of promoters provisionals. If a certain someone is that big of a draw, no provisional should be needed.

A lot of Lucas races have a promoters provisional. Sometimes it's based on track points or results of a previous race, but they are the promoters provisional, that has nothing to do with Lucas.Originally posted by Highside Hustler25 View Post

A local track near me used to play the promoter provisional during the Summernationals. Dad owned the track and gave his son a provisional whether he led the points or not. Rubbed a lot of fans the wrong way.Originally posted by MasterSbilt_Racer View Post

I can understand a series provisional for someone who follows a touring series. Not a fan of giving one to someone just because they win a lot of races.8/13/16

A provisional is a provisional, most of the times it's taking a spot from someone who has done better than that driver in that night. If the series is allowed to do it then so should the track have at least one.Originally posted by Highside Hustler25 View Post

Maybe I missed it, but I'm surprised no one has mentioned when Mark Richards gave out a Rocket provisional. I think it was to the highest non-qualifying Rocket driver.

B1tch about series and track provisionals all you like, but after that one, there's nothing left to say.
