Apparently it wasn’t sifted for rocks?

That was a horror of a track. Wouldn't have wanted to be the guy handling complaints at the Hoosier truck afterwards. Maybe Lucas should consider the Mickey Thompson tires the Baja trucks use. Lots of them at the start of the Reno-Las Vegas off roader this weekend.

Batesville has been that way as long as I know with my first visit there in the mid 90’s. The track has a lot of very tiny rocks in the surface. The resurfacing was done with dirt from the infield which is why there is a pond in the infield now. It smooths out and becomes less abrasive the more laps they run on it. It does seem to be worse after resurfacing. I guess we will see tonight. 🤷♂️
