Bloomquist Dirt On Dirt interview 2/18

Does he not seem like he is high or something during that segment? I mean, he is all over the place and his eyes are crazy. He can barely talk and it's half gibberish.

I'm not accusing him of anything, but he seems out of it.

I'm not a Bloomquist "hater" but you're clearly a Bloomquist homer based on your username. Watch the video. He doesn't even make sense with what he is saying.

Made sense to me. The man wants a longer off season to take pressure off of the teams. Wonder what it's like to get out of a race car and someone shove a mic in your face?

The guy was upset because he had bad memories from not being able to be with his family 100% at Christmas!

I'm guessing you haven't listened to any other interview he's done. In life people are different and they sometimes have trouble relaying there thoughts into words. Stop being so judgmental and making assumptions when you pretty much have no clue.

i noticed that as well. he was all over the place and trying to come up with words and his eyes were blood shot. probably really fatigue. i said it in another thread and ill say it again. i was taken back by his appearance in photos and shorts video clips of him during this years speed weeks. he is really over weight, has a really bloated face and looks old. i realize hes not young anymore ( hes around 55 right ?) but he doesn't even look good for someone his own age. i really hope its not some health issue but he defiantly needs to find the time for some type of exercising and watch his diet a little more.

I agree. That's just Scott. Kinda always been that way.

I think the same can be said for Don ONeal and Jimmy Mars. You'll be there some day.

Donny Schatz pretty much nails it in this article.

All drivers and crews should be tested regularly and if there isn't a policy in place there should be. And in the case of snort, who has a history of drug convictions it should be random and often! That goes for anyone else with a history of drug involvement.

Definitely had a problem. If he is on meds needs to get that straightened out. If it is the Smokey Mountain, needs jerked off the track.

One drug conviction in like 1991. Let's not stretch it, or exaggerate it.

Schatz has a point. But who's going to pay for it?

                          2.7 grams, what a baller.

Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Why do people read so much into sh!t? And over exaggerate things. You been racing for what, like three weeks with a few days off. You run your own team. You just got outta your car. You aren't a young pup anymore, I mean dam. Put a fine tooth comb over me come middle of summer, October, when we're working 70 hrs a week. I'm in my thirties and don't look like a spring chicken then.

I just watched the interview and I DO NOT LIKE BLOOMER but nothing seemed outta the ordinary to me. He seemed just fine and I don't think anything was wrong with him in this interview.
